牙齿卫生专业毕业生颁奖典礼举行

爱荷华中央社区学院于5月9日星期四晚上在道奇堡的柳岭举行了牙齿卫生计划毕业生的颁奖典礼。

口腔卫生项目主任Renee Piper表示欢迎，并祝贺毕业生们成为一个优秀的班级。

“Every class is special,” said Piper. “This class’s willingness to work as a team was a great thing. You all worked together so well.”

班级主席艾比·梅隆和致告别辞的代表艾米丽·鲁尼是学生演讲嘉宾。

“When we started, we never imagined how many hours of papers and homework there would be,” said Melohn. “Our hard work and even our failures have readied us for the dental hygiene field. It has been worth the effort, tears, and enjoyment.”

Melohn also highlighted memorable times the class shared together such as Children’s Dental Hygiene Month, spending a day lobbying at the State Capitol, volunteering at IMOM and celebrating each other’s achievements at Night of Excellence.

“As each of us celebrates our success, we should also be proud of our hard work and dedication to patient care, our adventure begins now,” Melohn said.

“Our hard work has paid off,” said Rooney. “The only people who truly understand the trials of dental hygiene school are those who are in it and our families. 我们生活和呼吸着它，但我们成功了，并准备好享受快乐和充实的职业生涯。 Here’s to us, we are finally dental hygienists.”

指导老师向每位毕业生颁发了他们的口腔卫生胸针，在助理指导老师Emma Degner和Maranda Geerdes的带领下，毕业生们背诵了《口腔卫生誓言》。
